Our friend Satsuma recently recommended an artist to us, E-vay, who does some great Hunger Games fan art. We have a perfect example of that right here!

Am I the only one who actually thinks that Peeta’s missing leg makes him more endearing? I think the fact that he’s gone through so much and lost so much and yet he is still such a genuine character makes him all the more loveable. I am always sad whenever people omit his missing leg or his prosthetic from fanart or fanfiction…
So, what do you think? I for one am happy to see some fan art actually showing Peeta with his missing leg. I think this might be a first (I could be wrong), but I haven’t found any other fan art that shows him like this. I love how raw and real this piece is, and it really is very sweet, don’t you think?

Not going to lie…it kind of creeps me out. I actually don’t like it.
It would be better if he didn’t have the one leg… But still an amazing picture!
I like it very much. I stared at this whole picture for quite a while, taking in the little details you amazingly included. I’ve done a lot of Katniss x Peeta fanart sorting and I saw a few with Peeta’s fake leg but I haven’t seen him without it. This is the first. Thank you for sharing this awesome fanart. I hope you draw more KxP fanarts without hiding the truth behind rainbows and flowers.
I love that he had one leg it was so different and unexpected. I think they should have shown it in the movie
